The second edition of Trident IGNITE is here, which is taking place in 2026. The online tournament is the second edition of the open-for-all Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament series. Yes, you heard it right, the series are ‘open to all’. This means if you belong to a BGMI team, you and your team can qualify for the tournament and play the competitive championship to win the exciting prize money.

This tournament happens in two parts. The first part is called Trident IGNITE 2026 – Road to Masters. This is where you can register yourself to play the series as a casual player. The event will take place online from 8th to 11th September 2026. After this, the second part of the tournament happens, which is Trident IGNITE 2026 — Challengers vs Masters, happening from 11th to 14th September 2026.

The drill is, if you and your team qualify in the Road to Masters round, you will then move ahead to the Challengers vs Masters round. This is where the eight newbie players are invited to play against the professional BGMI teams and fight for the 5 lakh additional prize pool over the 10 lakh prize pool for winning Road to Masters. But sadly, the sign-up window for this tournament is now closed. It ran from July 13 to July 21, 2026, and is not taking any more registrations. But what’s good in it for you is, if you are a BGMI lover and aspire to face an esport professional someday in your life, this is your chance to start preparing. BGMI Showdown 2026

The BGMI lovers wait for such events the entire year. The good thing is, it is about to take place in the month of September and will go on till October, covering almost an entire month. Starting from 22nd September 2026, the BGMI Showdown has 48 professional teams invited to participate and entertain the esports’ audience with their skills. The tournament will go on till 18th October 2026 and will have 6 different rounds. These rounds will give us 1 winning team out of the invited 48 teams playing the game.

From 22nd September till 13th October, the entire tournament will take place online. The grand finale, however, will take place in Hyderabad, India. The exact venue of the grand finale is yet to be decided. The tickets for the grand finale of the BGMI Showdown 2026 tournament are also not available yet. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai, India will be hosting 16 teams for three days from 30th October till 1st November 2026.
