How mythology meet technology at VBYLD address by Narendra Modi
In his address, PM Modi made his intent very clear. He urged the youth of India to not only be the consumer but move towards being the producer of ideas that have never been created before. His attempt to drive India’s Orange Economy and gaming growth to a projected $9.2B was loud and clear.
He further stated how India is a land full of stories that need people to tell them to the world. Our country is full of narratives but not the narrator, and through gaming and technology, we can bring these untold stories to the international light and take India’s economy to a bigger and better stage.
With his core message to the young innovators of India, he even pitched an idea for them to begin with. He suggested game developers take ideas from the Mahabharat and the Ramayan epics and create games that are unique in terms of stories, creativity, and technology.
Furthermore, he talked about the dated content that consumers are rejecting and everyone is looking for something fresh and new. Our mythological stories can be that freshness that the world of creativity needs, according to him.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned how Hanuman alone, the beloved Indian superhero, can power an entire gaming universe. His emphasis was simple, to blend the Indian heritage with high-tech technology and take the country’s culture to the global consumers who are hungry for new, creative, and immersive stories.

Modi’s take on Orange Economy
By pitching new ideas to young minds, PM Modi focused on enhancing multiple things at once. He strategized to boost the Orange Economy sector of India along with securing the future of India’s younger generation.
The aim of bringing the Mahabharat and the Ramayan epics is to enhance the orange economy of the country. And this economic sector is driven by creativity, arts, ideas, and immersive technology like VR altogether. Therefore, PM Narendra Modi noted that the intersection of culture and content can bring the desired or even bigger economic leap for the country.
He even made sure to address the hesitation and doubt that usually clouds genius minds and brings inaction. In his address, Narendra Modi urged to the youth to utilize all the amenities that the government provides for the betterment of the people and country.

He also assured the government is walking with the youth. Therefore, they should move forward with their ideas and not step back from taking the initiatives. To further push the audience towards action, he shared how over 5 million youth have already registered for the initiative. Out of these 5 million people, 3 million are participating in the Viksit Bharat Challenge to share development ideas.
And that is how he concluded 2026’s Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. By paying tribute to Swami Vivekanand, the forever guiding light of India and the innovator of tomorrow. And by encouraging India’s youth to take a leap from being global producers of technology rather than just being consumers. Stay tuned to mgcbuzz.com for more such news and updates.
