Threads Introducing In App Games For Private Chats?

Threads: New year brings in a new update for Meta’s Threads. An app that is created and connected via Instagram. A recent post from X (formerly Twitter) went viral for revealing that people will soon be able to play games in their Threads’ DMs.

The tweet went viral and now everyone wants to know what is happening with the new update and how true this news is. Let’s find out.

Threads would introduce in-chat gaming?

Do you know about Alessandro Paluzzi? He is a social media sensation and known as the particular researcher who seems to know everything. Paluzzi is known for detecting some of the digital tools even before they actually hit the market. And his news are always true.

What’s up with Threads introducing a new gaming feature in personal chats?

According to his post on X (formerly Twitter), Meta’s Threads is working on a basketball game for chats. According to sources, Threads has confirmed this news about testing a version of the feature. But it’s not yet available for public use. The timings for its availability are also not known yet.

But what’s known so far is that this step has been taken to make chats more engaging and hooking. Apart from announcing the new feature, Alessandro Paluzzi, the reverse engineer, has also discovered the first simple basketball game, for Threads.

Although the said feature is still in the testing phase and its launch is not declared yet. The company is actually trying to test how they can fill in their user gap. According to sources, the Threads app is definitely expanding and has grown to about 400 million monthly users worldwide. However, its reach in some countries is limited, including the United States. And this is where the company is putting in efforts to narrow down the user gap.

While a lot more clarity on this project is still pending, the action sure tells that Meta is trying to increase user engagement on the platform. While allowing two people to have a light competitive element within their conversations, the company is trying to focus more on expanding its user activity.
