Unity and Epic Games — The collab that’s about to reshape Fortnite

On Wednesday, 19th November 2025, during its annual developer conference called ‘unite’, Unity announced its partnership with Epic Games. In this collaboration, Unity revealed how, from now on, developers can publish Unity titles in Fortnite.

Here’s what Matt Bromberg, the CEO and president of Unity said during this conference –

“We’re excited to partner with Epic Games to create more opportunities for game developers around the world.”

“Choice and open systems create growth for everyone in the gaming ecosystem.”

The announcement didn’t end there as it also revealed that Unity is bringing Unreal Engine support to its platform. While more information on these developments will be shared in 2026, there was one more news that excited developers a lot.

This news was about Unity announcing from early next year onwards, developers will also be able to “manage pricing, look after promotions, and live operations” with Unreal.
