Indian Teams For Esports Nations Cup 2026 Competing in DOTA 2 and MOBA Legends: 5v5 Announced!

Esports Nations Cup 2026: Esports Nations Cup 2026 is all set to take place from November 2nd to November 29th. The online gaming tournament will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this year. Amid the ongoing preparations for the tournament, India is gearing up for the competition as well.

Recently, an announcement was made revealing the names of the Indian team players who will compete in the tournament for DOTA 2 and MOBA Legends: 5v5. The Esports Federation of India (ESFI), the body that regulates Indian esports, announced the players for these two games that will take place in the ENC 2026 in Riyadh.

For DOTA 2, Krish Gupta aka Krish, has been announced as the captain and leader of the India team. He has been the highest-ranked Indian player of the game and therefore the best choice for this role. His teammates for the tournament will be Dhvanit Singh Negi (Negi), Vishal Vernekar (HBK), Manav Kunte (MnZ), and Yash Thakur (xand3r_^). While Khaja Hussain (Pinkman) and Harsh Shah (Archmage-) will be the substitute players for the DOTA 2 competition.

The DOTA 2 competition at the Esports Nation Cup 2026 will take place from 2nd November to 9th November 2026. The competition will be hosting 32 different teams from various countries. They will all be competing for a prize pool of USD 1.5 million or INR 14.2 crore.

For MOBA legends 5v5, the players that have been selected are Gaithanlung “Kyle” Gonmei, Susanta “Kimyy” Biswas, Abhijeet “Katkar” Asuna, Rithik “Romcom” Sohal, and Evancius A. “Vann” Sangma. While Mohammad “Apex” Saad and Jay “J” Mehta will be the substitute players. They have all been coached under Steve “Dale” Vitug. The MOBA Legends 5v5 competition will take place from 23rd to 29th November 2026 at the Sports Nations Cup. The winning amount for this competition is the same as for DOTA 2.
